Studios, labels, sleeves

London became a production and label node; Israel, Germany and Japan developed their own audiences and artists. The term Goa trance began to organise shops, press, catalogues and line-ups.

A typical studio combined MIDI, digital and analogue synthesisers, samplers and computer sequencing. DAT moved masters and sets; vinyl and CD gave the movement a commercial surface without making it mainstream.
