This machine makes patterns. The music is next door.
The Cyberdeck exists to show how the pattern is built — kick, bass in the gaps, hats off the beat. It is not a label. For real psytrance, the archive has a listening room of whole releases, put out by the labels themselves under Creative Commons licences.
This engine was not tuned by ear. We measured 24 Creative Commons psytrance recordings — kick decay, fundamental frequency, spectral balance by band, centroid and crest factor — and adjusted the synthesis until our measurements matched theirs. The audio was measured and deleted; the numbers stayed, and they are published.
Long sessions built live on synthesisers and hardware — slow sound, one take, no editing. Whoever turns up helps shape the waveform; whoever does not hears the result. No public date yet: if you want to know when it starts, we will tell you.
This is not therapy and not medicine. It is sound. If you are having a hard time, talk to a doctor.
